We married at the Laguna Phuket Chapel on 29th October 2008. A whole year earlier than expected and we only had four weeks to organise everything from start to finish.

However, Cindy Chan and Apple pulled out all the stops from our initial enquiries to our Wedding day and had everything arranged for us perfectly. Cindy even had a plan B in place when the skies had a small temper tantrum and a thunderstorm appeared for a short time. Cindy even managed to arrange our canapés with only a days notice so that we could enjoy a glass of bubbly and small nibble while enjoying the grand views over the Lagoon.

We had decided that a beach wedding wasn’t for us and we were taken aback with the gorgeous and intimate Chapel which gave a magical centre piece to our day that we can forever remember through the professional and memorable photographs.

Our day has so many personal touches, from my beautiful Bride Laura who brought several tears to us all when she walked through the chapel on the arm of her father Andy to our lovely baby Elephant Lilly. The special, personal and permanent name plate at the chapel and finally our wedding party sending off hope lanterns at the  end of the evening made our Wedding day perfect. We wanted something unique and personal, and we got it ten fold.

Our wedding guests were well cared for and came away with beautiful and happy memories. With a fresh flower petal shower instead of confetti to the champagne it was perfect. We had our meal at the Rim Talay restaurant, at the Laguna Beach Resort, which is situated on pillars overlooking the peaceful Lagoon.

We would advise anyone wanting an intimate and unique wedding to have it at the Wedding Chapel at the Laguna Phuket as it is truly stress free and magical. It exceeded all our expectations and the photos do not do it justice!

We would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at the Laguna Phuket and our English-speaking celebrant who assisted us with our wedding vows. However, a special thank you to Cindy Chan and Apple for handling all our emails, texts and phone calls in a professional and personable manner but also for making our special day so fantastic!!!!
