Our biggest fear when booking our wedding was that everything was sight unseen to us.  Bringing over 45 guests from Australia we really wanted our day to be special not only for us, but a night to remember for our guests that made the long journey.  Looking back now we can happily say that in all ways we had the perfect wedding.  The Chapel-on-the-Lagoon is MORE beautiful then it looks in the photos and the reception venue was just magical. 

From our initial inquiry we were promptly answered and when things got too hard for email I was called on my mobile.  Cindy and her team were absolutely brilliant in answering all our questions, leading us in the right direction and helping us plan everything down to the tiniest detail.  I think we sent 1000’s of emails to get this day to be perfect and perfect it was.  These guys are real professionals when it comes to planning a wedding and any question or idea you throw at them – they generally have the answer or make it happen.

Our reception was held at the Dusit and Kate did an amazing job organising and controlling 45 Australians on an open bar.  The food was the best we have had at a wedding (lobster – steak – fish – you name it).  The staff  were friendly and went above and beyond looking after our guests.  We had our own music playing through a laptop which worked brilliantly for the guests on the dance floor.  At the reception we were greeted by a baby Elephant Lily which was organised by the staff at Laguna.  What an amazingly unique idea while we were taking photos and our guests sipping on cocktails over looking the beach. 

All in all Cindy and her team did an amazing job.  From Gaan and his initial work to Jutima dealing with 1000’s of photos in our album and Cindy steering the ship.  More then anything Cindy made you feel like this was your day.  No rushing, no panicking, no kicking you out so the next wedding can come through.  It is without hesitation that I would recommend Laguna Chappel as a Wedding Destination and the Dusit as a quality hotel and great place for the reception.   All our friends and family still say it was a wedding that would be hard to beat. 

Look forward to visiting one day and taking our kids to our own little plaque on the wall and saying hello to everyone again J
