Writing about the day we waited 10 years for proved to be a challenge. We thought, how can we give justice to the beauty of that momentous day in words? Well, we'll try.

It started with our quest for a wedding destination when we chanced upon the Phuket tourism website. The quaint little chapel literally took our breath away. We instantly knew Laguna Phuket's Chapel-on-the-Lagoon was the one for us!

After about a week of exchanged emails with their very efficient wedding coordinator we sealed the deal. Never mind not seeing the place beforehand, we trusted our instinct. Imagine our surprise a month later when we saw OUR Laguna Chapel featured in "A Place to Wed" a book of 25 romantic and exotic wedding destinations from around the world. All our worries surely went up in smoke!

We came to Phuket in January for an ocular of the ceremony and reception sites and we fell in love with everything we saw. Jutamas of the Chapel-on-the-Lagoon and Kate of Dusit are both heaven-sent. They were so patient with our questions and truly considerate to give in to most of our requests. Members of their wedding coordination and banquet teams are all professionals and we highly recommend their services!

We would like to thank Jutamas and the rest of the Chapel-on-the-Lagoon team for the wonderful wedding that exceeded our expectations. Everything was just perfect, from the floral decorations with the orchids and lotuses, the shuttle boats that ferried us and our guests up to the breathtaking sunset just after our vows. Our 46 family and friends all agree that it was one of the, if not the best wedding they?ve all been to. Thanks to you all for the warm welcome and kind assistance!
